Captain George Georgiou / Marine, Safety and Quality Superintendent

We are very happy to announce that Captain George Georgiou has joined our Petronav Team as of 2nd May 2023 in the position of Marine, Safety and Quality Superintendent. Captain George’s vast knowledge and expertise having been in the shipping industry for 36 years will enable us to strengthen our team especially as it relates to safety. He began his career in 1986 at Syros Merchant Marine Academy and has sailed on board various types of ships being a Master for over 10 years. Captain George has also held various shoreside positions such as DPA and Head of Marine & Vetting Departments in a major shipping company, before joining Petronav Ship Management Ltd. We are thrilled to have Captain George on board and we wish him all the best in his new professional beginning.
